Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Additional certifications in maintenance management, automation, safety, or TPM will be an added advantage

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in maintenance operations within manufacturing industries
• Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Experience in corrugation, paper packaging industries preferred

Job Description

1. Plant & Machinery Maintenance

• Ensure smooth operation of corrugation plant machinery and utility systems
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
• Reduce machine downtime and improve equipment efficiency

2. Team Management

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, and support staff
• Allocate work responsibilities and monitor team performance
• Conduct technical training and skill development programs

3. Production Support

• Coordinate with production and planning teams for uninterrupted operations
• Support quick changeovers and production optimization initiatives
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance tools

4. Utility & Infrastructure Management

• Monitor and maintain boilers, compressors, DG sets, electrical panels, and HVAC systems
• Ensure proper upkeep of factory infrastructure and safety systems

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, fire, and workplace safety standards
• Implement safe maintenance practices and permit systems
• Support ISO, FSC, IWAY, and other compliance requirements

6. Cost & Performance Control

• Control maintenance costs through efficient planning and inventory management
• Maintain maintenance records, machine history, and KPI reports
• Drive continuous improvement projects for energy saving and machine reliability
